So anyone using a Sympatico email address, your email is being handled by Microsoft. They have just introduced a new filtering system. Now, all of our webshop email is going into your junk folder. You've been advised!

Select the email and click on "Not Junk" to stop this from happening in the future. Unlike Google's Gmail - which NEVER catches good email in the spam folder, Hotmail has a way to go.

Makes it hard for people to create webshop accounts, when they think they don't get the confirmation email.

The Friendly Stranger has been doing some spring cleaning at our warehouse and we found several copies of a true Canadian Cannabis Collectible.

This is the cover of the "Marijuana and Hemp Newsletter". It was published in January 1995 and features a full colour post card as the cover image. The issue is printed on Hemp Paper and is 52 pages.

For those not familiar with the history of the Canadian Cannabis Culture, this publication became Cannabis Canada and then later Cannabis Culture Magazine.

Sweden legalizes and regulates cannabis

Stockholm, December 19 - The Swedish Parliament has approved a law which will regulate the growing, usage and trade of cannabis. This is according to the Health and Social Services of Sweden, Jonas Grönhög, who was quoted, "We don't want to make the same mistakes which the USA has done, we do not want to be prohibitionists because the war on drugs has been lost long ago. It is better to prevent marginalization of young people than jail them for soft drugs usage which are comparatively harmless. If we allow the sale of alcohol, there is no reason to ban the soft drugs no longer."

Cannabis products are going to be available in the pharmacies in Sweden as non-prescription medicine since April 20 in 2012 and customers more than 18-year-old can buy 10 grams at once. Growing for personal usage will be tolerated up to 200 grams of dried marijuana and larger amounts stay illegal. It is likely that this will target the Police resources on more serious crime, especially on organized crime, drug trafficking and trafficking in human beings which have been increased for lack of the Police resources in recent years.

I need to upgrade, can't afford it, but would love to be a finalist or a winner! I made this a year ago at the Marijuana March in Toronto, before I moved. This was shortly after a trip to the shop, and even THEN, I couldn't afford and upgrade! (I even have a Friendly Stranger sticker on it! That said, this is long overdue being put down, maybe shelved, but that all depends on you guys! Come on! By the way, this is called the F.S. (Friendly Stranger) 4:20 - X . Oh yeah, it NEEDS an epic name like that!

It took me awhile to relocate this retired hand carver pipe. Made from driftwood, butternut and pine, it is carver with a vortex around the driftwood base, The "spider" bowl is carved from butternut and the mouthpiece is roughly turned, then the whole piece is detailed using a wood-burning pencil tip. I made this in 1995 but retired it before the bowl was completely burnt away. I now enjoy the "friendly frog".

Drove up with a few friends from Niagara Falls to Canada's Wonderland to find out it's only open on weekends (we weren't aware of that). After that we decided to go to Toronto and do some shopping. As we were heading there it started raining like crazy! We got soaked walking around, and on the way back to the car I remembered the Friendly Stranger was in Toronto. So my friend typed the store name into his GPS and to my utter amazement, we found out it was only a few blocks from the parking lot! The day wasn't a total waste, I got to see Wonderland in person, (from the entrance) and I came home with this awesome 420jar! Thanks FS, I'm definitely coming back.
